Rodeo Girl: Dream Champion

Synopsis

Priscilla Williams is a 14-year-old “junior jumper” at an English boarding and equestrian school. Summer’s coming, and she’s looking forward to private training lessons with her horse and best friend Lucky Lad. That is, until her mother breaks the news that Priscilla will be sent to Oklahoma to get acquainted with her estranged father Duke.

Duke, a rugged ex-rodeo champ, has lived a lonely life since Priscilla’s mother left him. He knows how to run a ranch, but he has no idea how to relate to a teenaged girl.

It’s not long, though, before Priscilla is drawn into the world of roping and riding. Duke, at first, is opposed to his daughter’s newfound passion, but Priscilla’s natural talent is hard to ignore. As she and Lucky Lad train for a spot at the National Youth Rodeo, new friendships are made and old relationships restored.
